EXFOLIANTS:
Exfoliants are products or substances which help with the removal of dead skin cells from the skins surface.
Benefits of exfoliants:

Beta Hydroxy Acids
These are soluble acids which means they can penetrate into the pore deeply.

Example;Salicylic Acid
Salicylic Acid
It's concentration is 0.05%-2% since it's soluble
It's able to penetrate the pores to dissolve sebum and other debric
It also manages excessive oiliness and texture.Works well for whiteheads ,blackheads and non inflamed breakouts
Great for dandruff.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids(AHA)
These are water soluble acids which works by loosening the bond between skin cells hence leading them to shed off.
It's effective at addressing concerns like rough texture ,limits breakouts and fades dark sports.
Examples:Glycolic acid,Lactic acid,Mandelic acid
Glycolic Acid
Derived from Sugarcane.

Mandelic Acid
The most gentle AHA with exfoliating properties
