 A toner is liquid skincare product designed to remove leftover dirt,oil and make up after cleansing.

  • Prepares skin for other products-- Toner enables the skin to absorb serums and moisturizers by creating a slightly dump face.
  • Hydrates-- some toners contain hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture.
  • Adresses specific concerns-- Active ingredients like AHAs or BHAs to target specific concerns like acne,hyperpigmentation or dullness.
Types of toner
  • Alcohol -based toners: it can be dry for most skin types.
  • Astringement toners: contains alcohol ,often used to treat oily skin but they can be harsh.
  • Hydrating toners: contain humectants like hyaluronic acid yo add moisture into the skin.
  • Exfoliating toner: contains AHAs and BHAs to gently exfoliate the skin.
How to use toner
  • Cleanse: use a gentle cleanser to cleanse your face.
  • Apply toner: spray it directly on your face or pour a small amount on a cotton pad.Pat it gently on your face and avoid eye area
